I've been lucky enough to have shared a lot of adventures with Shaz over the years but while I sit here thinking about them a trilogy of camping stories sprang to mind, so i thought I'd share.

One of the first trips we went on involved an eco campsite in Weymouth. Lovely setting, camp fires and drinks a plenty, good times being had by all. The problem with these lovely coast side campsites is the wind, Jimbo and Shaz's new tent got battered, I'm not sure it ever got another outing.

The next one involved a trip to the New Forest, a broken camp light and a mad russian (maybe) woman. More times filled with laughter and fun and canvas.

The final one really stretched our journey time, making it all the way to Andover. We got there, got the tents up and went to the on site pub. Then the heavens opened, so we sat in the pub and watched, we watched until the impossible happened, it rained in the pub!! The rain was so heavy, the roof collapased a bit and water poured through the roof, we helped them move the pool table and the fruit machines, then found a dry table and carried on :)

Shaz enjoyed have fun with her friends and I'm so happy to have been part of that. We spent many a good evening with our group of friends camping or having BBQ's etc, generally the more the merrier. I'm thankful, lucky and my life is better for having those times.
